Virgin Atlantic is offering up to £200 off flights including New York from £330

Virgin Atlantic Black Friday deals have launched including cheap flights to New York, Orlando and Barbados, as well as cheap holidays for 2022 – but you’ll want to be quick if you want a bargain

Virgin Atlantic has launched a huge Black Friday sale

Virgin Atlantic’s Black Friday sale is here and bargain hunters can currently enjoy savings of up to £200 off flights, including some major bucket list destinations like New York, Orlando, Barbados, Jamaica, Cape Town and more.

When we took a look, we could find heaps of return fares to popular destinations in the US and Caribbean under £500pp, with plenty of travel dates throughout 2022.

For example we found return fares to New York from £330pp, Orlando from £384pp, Los Angeles from £389pp, Barbados from £390pp and Jamaica from £431pp. That includes travel dates until June 17, 2022, so there’s plenty of opportunity to snap up a bargain.

You can already book the deals online but you’ll need to do so by November 29 when the sale ends.

It’s also worth noting that the discounts depend on your cabin choice. For example, you can get up to £50 off Economy Light/Classic/Delight seats, up to £100 off Premium and up to £200 off Upper Class.

If you’re looking for package holidays rather than flights only, you’re in luck; Virgin Holidays has also launched Black Friday offers with up to 10% off holidays.

We’re talking the likes of Caribbean holidays from £582pp, Orlando holidays from £584pp and USA holidays from £515pp.

The best part is that the discounted packages encompass savings on flights too, to help you stretch that holiday budget a little bit further.

Like the flights offers, you’ll need to book by November 29 if you want to make use of the discounts, which are valid for travel dates between December 1, 2021 as well as December 31, 2022.

Don’t be disheartened if you can’t quite make the deals work for you. You can head to our Holiday Deals page which we’re updating with all the best discount codes, sales and offers to be found, not just for Black Friday but year-round.

Travel restrictions may apply due to the pandemic so always check the latest Foreign Office advice before booking or going on a trip, as this will include any information such as entry rules for Brits and other local Covid rules you may need to be aware of.

At the time of writing, there are currently no countries on the UK red list. This means that anyone returning to the UK from abroad won’t be required to stay in a quarantine hotel.

However, there are rules upon return which differ depending on your vaccination status.

If you’re fully vaccinated, you’ll need to take a PCR test or lateral flow test on day two back in the UK.

If you’re unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you’ll need to take a pre-departure test, as well as PCR tests on days two and eight of your return. You’ll also be required to self-isolate for 10 days.
